Dubai South, formerly Dubai World Central or #AlMaktoum International Airport opened for air cargo traffic on June 27 2010 and for passengers traffic on October 27 2013. The world's first aerotropolis is slated to become the world's biggest airport, capable of hosting 160 million + passengers a year, along with 12 million tons of cargo.
