It is home to more than 50,000 aquatic creatures and contains a series of inland waterways and six open-air lagoons. It also boasts the largest casino in the Caribbean. With a varied range of activities, shopping and dining, this Bahamian resort is popular with families, couples, honeymooners, conference-goers and singles. Accommodations at Atlantis Paradise Island are spread throughout several buildings, each with its own style and ambiance. The rooms and Regal Suites at Coral Towers have a bright island décor that appeals to families; those in the more adult-oriented Royal Towers are decorated in traditional style. Other sections of the hotel, such as The Reef, offer guestrooms and suites resembling residential apartments, with kitchen facilities and separate sleeping and living areas. There are 21 restaurants at the resort, ranging from Nobu, the upscale Japanese restaurant, to Murrays Deli for casual sandwiches and snacks. The Bahamian Club serves traditional local cuisine, and Café Martinique specializes in French gourmet fare. Bimini Road has a pan-Caribbean menu, Carmines serves classic Italian, and there are several buffet options on-site for breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as snacks to go. Activities run the gamut, from the massive 24-hour Atlantis Casino, to water slides and river rides at the water park Aquaventure and dolphin encounters at Dolphin Cay Atlantis. There is extensive shopping on-site, a full menu of treatments at the Mandara Spa, nightly movies at the Atlantis Movie Theater and live entertainment every night.
