10. Same as that. I've been erecting steel for 40yrs, no harness or guard rails in the early days. Now jobs have been slowed down so much by HSE, but the money stays the same. Harnesses just get in the way. Leave us to work how we want to work.

I work on scaffolding....whenever the site foreman (invariably) doesn't give a stuff, workers dump their harnesses, throw down the guard rails and slide down the ladders like monkey's not caring for their own or others life's .... if a safety inspector isn't present then safety regulations go to the dogs...it is just like the 1930's...and yes, I live and work in a first world country.
