This building is now nearly double the height of the Empire State Building, that is quite unbelievable. It is more than 860 meters high. Oh wow to be that crane operator.

Nice building, too bad its empty. Not sure if people are aware but the whole city of Dubai went bankrupt a few month ago. Dubai officials begged the media to keep the bankruptcy hush so investors wouldn't be scared off. Half the buildings there have stopped being built in mid floor, the other half are empty. While most cities build because of demand, Dubai thought that if they build it they will come. They didn't. And since the housing crash things went from bad to worse.
