From El Nido, Palawan (Philippines) we took a trike to the airport and boarded our flight with Air Swift to Manila. We arrived at the private hanger at the Manila airport and took an Uber (~$3) to Terminal 3. We spent about 3 hours in the Cathay Pacific lounge, which was quiet nice and had a fantastic (complimentary) noodle bar. We boarded the Cathay Pacific 777-300ER first class cabin and had quite a wait as the air traffic at MNL is quite heavy. A few minutes after departing for Hong Kong we were able to sit together. Each first class seat in the Cathay Pacific 777-300ER has a foot stool that doubles as a guest seat. We had a few glasses of champagne and had a 3 course dinner.
