The series features a totally custom map and map theme featuring 100% unique textures and a hand-picked selection of assets and mods from the Steam Workshop, which complement the style of city that is being built. Each player has total control over their respective episodes, but the final outcome is the sum of all three builders efforts. While the basic plans for the region are in place, the endeavor will be completely inspired by each individual's creation per their episodes. We certainly hope you share our enthusiasm for this project! It's funny to me how you keep praising Strict and Flux but you're the only one from the bunch I can listen to and watch without shaking my head. The others have little interesting to say, they kept breaking character for the build and added far too much foliage or immediately built up an oasis. You on the other hand actually limit yourself and put in some research, then talk about your experience. Great detail work for the theme, no abundant trees or greenery. Good job overall.
You had some redundancy in your commentary, though. Most of the things you said in the live part had been covered in your after-the-fact timelapse voice-over, so perhaps keep an eye out for that in the future. But again, good topics, decent explanations. Keep it up. -
The boneyard actually fits perfectly because real boneyards tend to be in the desert because the dry, arid climate doesn't degrade the aircraft quickly. Look up Pinal Airpark in Arizona.

Numbers on runways are actually their asimuths (i believe it's written like so) in both directions, excluding the last digit.
For example, runway 09 should face approx. east. 00 is north, 18 is south and 27 is west. Also, the sum of those numbers on the opposite ends always gives you 36, because that's the way asimuth works. -
I'm going to guess, but the inspiration is the boneyard in Victorville, California.
-
So the runway numbers are headings. 17 would be 170 (south), 35 is 350 (north). They are 180 degrees from each other(obviously, since they are straight lines). The runways are built with the prevailing winds, and the pilots will land, generally, into the wind. Also, to improve the realism of your airports, here's a couple links that have some good information:

And from the FAA:

Hope this helps with your airports! Love the work you guys are doing on this map... Keep it up! -

Love the bone yard!! Great assets too!

One thing you might add to the bone yard is a practice plane for firefighters.
-
Could someone tell me the song at the end of video?
-
why i cannot find any prop or assets in game?
-
I'm having so much fun watching, but am always confused about handicapped spaces being far away from business entrances. Also, parking lots normally fill up closest to the building first with the "far off" spaces only being used if the lot is pretty full........ :)

IT's compass bearing in which a runway is oriented FYI Runway numbers are determined by rounding the compass bearing of one runway end to the nearest 10 degrees.
