A peek into COMPUTEX Taipei (台北國際電腦展), the second largest computer expo in the world after CeBIT and the largest in Asia, in Taipei City (臺北市/台北市), Taiwan (臺灣/台灣) on June 7, 2014. Held from June 3 to 7, COMPUTEX Taipei 2014 saw a total of over 130,000 visitors and attracted a total of 38,662 international buyers from 166 countries. The top 10 nations by turnout were China, USA, Japan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Germany and Russia. COMPUTEX Taipei 2015 will be held from June 2 to 6. COMPUTEX Taipei (or Taipei International Information Technology Show) computer expo is held annually in Taipei. Since the early 2000s, it has become one of the largest computer and technology fairs in the world with participation from major manufacturers such as Intel, AMD, NVIDIA, and others, as well as Taiwanese brand names such as Acer and ASUS. COMPUTEX is co-organized by government-funded Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and private sector Taipei Computer Association (TCA). CeBIT is the world's largest and most international computer expo. The trade fair is held each year on the Hanover fairground, the world's largest fairground, in Hanover, Lower Saxony, Germany, and is considered a barometer of the state of the art in information technology.
