This video is property of Train_PlaneHub, "RachaelMatt" and must not be re-uploaded! 1080p HD! On-board my first ever Delta Air Lines flight for a cross country jump from New York on the Atlantic coast down to Los Angeles on the Pacific coast. Very nice flight, a fair few empty seats around me so enjoyed a free seat next to me and lots of room to spread out. Strange flight in the sense that although it was a daytime flight during the cruise all the lights were switched off and many had their window blinds closed and were sleeping. So the cabin was very quiet and pitch black for much of the flight. Entertainment system was very good. My one complaint would be the on-board service. A 6 hour flight and you only get a couple of biscuits or pretzels and a few free drinks. No meal or anything. Then when I went to purchase something from the menu they didn't take cash payments at all and I'd got the exact change. Was rather disappointed and arrived in California starving! None the less a beautiful aircraft, great seat, entertainment and plenty of legroom and space on-board! As someone who is terrified to fly, these videos help normalize the experience. Thank you for posting these.

Wait, didn't you pause the video during the video, because it is 53 minutes long and a flight from JFK to LAX takes around 390 minutes which is 6 hrs

I started with fighters, then flew years of global flights on the C-141. When I got on with Delta I was happy to stay domestic (US, Canada, Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean). Sometime after 2000, Delta started an aggressive en-route maintenance program. After jets would arrive at JFK from Europe they would be serviced and sent to west coast destinations- SEA, PDX, SFO, LAX and SAN. The customers enjoyed a premium product (lie-flat seats up front) and the west coast guys jumped on the outstanding maintenance problems overnight. The jets would return to ATL, IAD or JFK in time for the PM European push. It was and is a win/win program. Flying the overpowered 767-232ER's on a relatively short flight was a blast. You would easily see 4,000 FPM through 20,000 ft. It made passengers happy and the pilots had a blast.

I was hoping for a look at the flight information monitor when you showed interesting things on the ground. It would have been nice to know what mountains, cities etc I was seeing., I'm now hooked on your vids!

SUPER Video!!! THUMBS UP!!! for your skills. I love to fly the good old Boeing 767-300ER. Sadly in Germany only Condor (DE) is using this aircraft mainly from Frankfurt/Main to it,s exotic long-haul holiday destinations. Wish I could see the 767 in Düsseldorf (DUS) during noon.
