Dubai Airport is world famous for its Duty Free, which includes cheap cigarettes, alcohol, perfume, cologne, watches, electronics, mobile phones, a car raffle, and lottery. Dubai Duty Free (DDF) is the largest airport retailer in the world. This Dubai Duty Free location is Concourse C of Terminal 3, home to Emerites Airlines. Cigarette smokers absolutely love Dubai (and the Middle East in general) because smoking is more widely accepted than in America. Cartons of Marlboros were around $24 while bargain brands like Merit and L&M were less. A Chinese brand carried a price tag of only $12 per carton. Liquor prices seemed competitive. Dubai Duty Free excels with their enormous selection of brands, cleanliness of the facility, and attentive staff. Rare liquors such as the Johnny Walker various "label" brands were readily available in large quantities. Dubai Duty Free carried a surprisingly large selection of chocolate. As stated in the video, candy prices (such as Kit Kat) seemed to be on par with big box stores in America. Dubai Duty Free stocked an immense selection of watches and electronics. As stated earlier, anything purchased at Dubai Duty Free is sure to be genuine and the buying experience will be marked by superb customer service. My favorite part of Dubai Duty Free is the car lottery. During my tour, Dubai Duty Free was raffling off an Audi A8L, a Bentley Coupe, and a Ducati Motorcycle. The raffle ticket prices reasonable, considering the odds of winning are so much better than Powerball or Mega Millions. Dubai Duty Free is perhaps most famous for its Millennium Millionaire promotion, in which the winning raffle ticket gets a check for $1 Million USD.
