Thanks for the video. The UAE has some of the best fish markets in the world. I was there from 1977 until 1990 and used to go to the fish souk every Friday. The fish were always fresh . My favourites were hammour, tuna, swordfish, prawns and crayfish AKA Sand Lobster and Slipper Lobster. I remember when I washed the the crayfish they would start crawling out of the kitchen sink.

Loved seeing all that fish. Unfortunately, for me, most but not all fish, were not iced and could go off at any time. Nothing, from what I saw, was alive. The lobster was not from local waters. There did not seem to be too many customers so, what do they do with the fish that was not sold that day? The country, with its mega oil dollars can build the most wonderful facilities but the actual citizens are still quite primitive.
