Dubai - Dubai's City Mall of the Future

The Mall of the World is a fascinating and innovative megastructure developed by Dubai Holdings. If built it will essentially be an indoor interconnected city that will contain the largest indoor shopping mall and theme park. In addition, it will have multiple districts that will entertain, house, and care for residents and tourists. It will cost about $7 Billion dollars to build and will take a decade to build. This is by far Dubai's most ostentatious structure they have proposed. So far the design is purely conceptual. Summary: Due to the hot and humid weather, Dubai looses potential revenue from tourism, especially during the summer. So Dubai Holdings proposed a temperature controlled interconnected indoor city called the Mall of the World. If built it will allow year-round tourism and long-term stays. In addition, it may transform Dubai into a popular international tourist destination and will represent Dubai's ambitious nature to innovate and succeed.
