Can't believe that there is a Modell's Sporting Goods in Dubai! I saw one of the mall shopper with the bag, standing outside the Ski Slope. Did some internet search, and sure enough, there is one there.

Gosh, for a while there it looked like you were the only tourist in Dubai - empty first station; few on the metro; no one on the streets. So different from any place I've ever visited John. Nice intro vid to your trip. Really looking forward to the rest.
