So where do the pipes from the toilet go to? that's the real question..
-
Get a different host.
-
Quit repeating the same information. The paper straws .
-
It would be better for the show if the host had training in handling big machines before he sits in one on the show.
-
get the comedy out and be more serious
-
your host sounds like a fool many times with these shows.
-
At 31:20 I am very surprised that they are using untreated steel as opposed to stainless or coated/galvanized fittings. It's already rusting, in a harsh environment it will rot and ultimately fail, endangering both houses it connects together.
-
new york and Florida should take notes
-
What if there's a major, big-fat-mama-sized tsunami? It could wipe out the whole city.
-
They could've done this a whole lot cheaper and faster if they had used EPS foam blocks instead of heavy concrete blocks. http://www.universalconstructionfoam.com/pastprojects/eps-blocks-have-been-used-in-floating-docks-houses-and-swim-platforms/ Also, house boats are not a new idea.

I still haven't been able to find this Damn made from hamsters they keep talking about. Talk about some extreme engineering!
I just hope they didn't use dancing hamsters! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qN72LEQnaU -

-
repeat repeat repeat ..aaaaaar
-
You know what's not futuristic? The quality of this video.

I hope someone has explored the idea to insert a damping system for the pitching and rolling created by the water for those floating houses that generates electricity. The amount of energy that can lift and drop structures that size would seem to be energy that would be large enough to be harvested. The consumers in the building are right there. It would be only a percentage of the energy needed for the home, but it would still help. Also, in winter when energy needs are highest, the North Sea is at its most energetic.
I live near New Orleans. All of this is quite familiar. Tomorrow I will be passing over those canals that have their water levels 15 feet above the adjoining ground level. -
I'm a design engineer and find this idea quite valuable for many areas.
Too bad they are constrained by their ancient canal system. This technology has no bounds. -
Am happy to see this engineering and also I wish to get the opportunity to see the real construction one day since am in the construction field
-
They mess up sea-level with that of "het IJ-meer" .
