Dubai - Girls ICT Day at Cisco - Part 3 - May 7 - 2015

Each year around this time, Cisco System Inc. at Dubai Internet City and around the world open their doors to girls to attend Girls ICT Day. In Dubai Cisco welcomed more than 50 girls ages 13 to 17 representing six schools including Umm Suquem Model School for Girls, Jumeirah College, Kings’ School Dubai Al Barsha Branch, Wellington International School, Greenwood International School, Dubai International Academy. Young Leaders Development Program (YLDP) facilitated their attendance through their schools network. The girls were truly inspired and learned about the Internet of Everything and explored career opportunities in the IT field. Every year Cisco are taking part of this important event to empower young women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and become the next generation of innovators – the dreamers and doers who will use technology to change the world. For the second year in a row, the Young Leaders Development Program is joining hand with Cisco in promoting this event to the schools associated with the program and empowering girls to explore the possibility in pursuing career in ICT through attending Girls ICT Day at Cisco.
