Dubai - (HD) Chicago O'Hare & Honolulu International Airport - Terminal Planespotting Journal

Here's an upload with some shots from a couple airports I've visited recently and briefly: Honolulu International Airport PHNL / HNL, Chicago O'Hare International Airport KORD / ORD. The only exception is the shot of the Star Alliance Boeing 767-400 there which was in Newark International Airport KEWR / EWR. I didn't stay long at EWR due to the lack of food options available (per my opinion) and that I was connecting back to O'Hare soon after I got there. I will return to make better and more complete videos of each of these airports sometime in future hopefully. On this trip I flew MSP-LAX, LAX-HNL on a United 777-200, HNL-EWR on a United Boeing 767-400 and then connected to O'Hare. I didn't have a window seat for any of these flights thus no inflight videos. Since I didn't get inflight videos, I decided to focus on terminal spotting for this feature. Clips taken at HNL were on May 16th and ORD on May 17th, 2016. I will certainly have to return to make better videos from both of these airports' terminals. This was the first time in 17 years I'd been back to Honolulu, Hawaii. Featured: Hawaiian Airlines Airbus A330s, quite a few. American Airlines Boeing 767-300ER(W) The United Boeing 777-200 (N211UA) in the foreground there near the opening of the video is the one I flew LAX-HNL on... Very cool to see the ANA All Nippon Star Alliance Livery Boeing 767-300 JA614A in town while I was there... JAL - Japan Airlines Boeing 777-200ER 777-246ER. First time catching this combo on camera... It's been a while since I've filmed an Allegiant Boeing 757. This one is N903NV. Had to get a shot of Diamond Head... I managed to get a few takeoffs in there but departures on the Reef Runway are not easily filmed from this distance. American Airbus A321 with winglets... Getting this JinAir Boeing 777-200ER pushback was quite the highlight of my short visit there. I wondered why the registration sounded so familiar and then realized this was the former SkyTeam Livery Korean Air 777. Bittersweet. Second time I've caught a Korean Boeing 747-400 on video... first was at O'Hare in 2013 I believe. This time it's departing the Reef Runway 8R-26L at HNL. The United Boeing 767-400 (N76064) you see there was the one I flew to Newark Liberty International Airport KEWR / EWR only a few hours after landing at HNL from LAX. Newark Liberty International Airport KEWR / EWR... Happened to see the Star Alliance Boeing 767-400 (N76055) going back to Hawaii after I just flew in from there... And then on to....................... Chicago O'Hare International Airport KORD / ORD. Months of chasing the OneWorld America Airlines Boeing 737-800 and I caught it on film without even trying... that's how planespotting works sometimes :D Finally got the Air India Star Alliance Boeing 777-300ER, I've filmed the airplane before but not in this livery. Pushback of AIC#126 to Delhi International Airport VIDP / DEL I apologize for the reflections on the glass but such is to be expected when filming from the terminal for various airports, O'Hare is no exception. The usual host of O'Hare International heavies that I have filmed and documented over and over so many times... KAL37 to Seoul Incheon International Airport RKSI/ ICN, JAL 9 to Tokyo Narita International Airport RJAA / NRT, Hainan 497 from Beijing capital International Airport ZBAA / PEK, Emirates 235 from Dubai International Airport OMDB/ DXB, etc... Very pleased to see the Star Wars BB-8 Jet ANA All Nippon Boeing 777-300ER... unfortunately I was so busy filming other stuff I didn't notice it was inbound on the flighttracker or I could've gotten the pull-in. Oh well, another time. There is always so much going on at O'Hare that it's hard to catch everything. Starting AUA#66 back to Vienna Schwechat International Airport VIE / LOWW with an airstart... pull-in of Turkish #5 from Istanbul, push-back of BAW#294 to London Heathrow. Hope you enjoy! ------------------------------- Follow me on Twitter at twitter.com/ohareaviation ------------------------------- This video is the property of O'HareAviation Plane Spotting & Flight Tracking. Hey Jay! I went on vacation to Manila, and it went like this! I went to PIT, my home airport, then flew to YYZ on Air Canada CRJ-700. Then I flew YYZ to HKG on a Cathay Pacific 777-300ER, and then Cathay Pacific from HKG to MNL on an Airbus A330-300. On the way back I flew from MNL to HKG on a Philippine Airlines A320, and next I flew from HKG to DFW on AA138!!!!! I got bulkhead economy seats on row 33 for that leg! I have to say, good seating choice. Finally I flew from DFW to PIT on a super 80 operated by AA. When I was in Dallas airport on the airport train, I realized it was a great place to spot! Economy seats all the way, and yeah! Just got back yesterday!!!! -JGamer101 (PS I'm LegendFTW but I changed my name to JGamer101! Might upload landing videos on YouTube soon!😃✈️

There are only 3 Jinair 777's...Love the livery and the blue jean suits are unique to the industry...

Hey Jay, so for my birthday I want to go to O'Hare to plane spot these are my questions, 1. Do you have to get permission to go there and see them, 2. What is the closest spot you can get close to the planes, 3. What is the most active landing spot and what is the time in between the landings?

I love Planes

On May 25 2017 Delta Airlines starts daily flights between JFK and Glasgow, UK. It's the airline's 4th UK City. Delta announced the service 2 weeks after they started daily year-round flights to Edinburgh. http://newsalerts.delta.com/2016-06-07-Delta-doubles-network-to-Scotland-with-new-route-between-New-York-JFK-and-Glasgow#assets_117

Ok jay. Here's the thing. I know you don't necessarily "agree" with social media, but Instagram is a whole nother story. With Instagram, they now allow full sized photos, and one minute videos. Also, the aviation community on there is insanely awesome! For example, if somebody is hatin' on an account, a bunch of a geeks will band up and either persuade them to stop or if worse comes to worst, get their account deleted. So, that is why you should join the aviation community of Instagram. I think your photos/ clips of planes landing will do very well! I hope you take my advice and check it out. (P.s., my Instagram name is Grahamboaviation)

Very nice video! I've been to HNL quite a few times - I love getting off the plane and smelling the Hawaiian breeze in the open-air terminal. (I have a bunch of YouTube vids on my channel, JFK-HNL on HA 330s and flying around the islands on DH-8s and 717s.)

JA-789A BB-8 777 is a beauty, I saw it in person at LAX at night but you had a beautiful view!

Thanks for spotting! I flew on D-ABYC at 40:12 out of Chicago on that very day. I am guessing it was moved from the M terminal to B-17 where it flew to Frankfurt as flight LH431, I took a take-off and landing video which is posted on my channel and have the model of this very aircraft on its way. So cool to see it here on your video!
