Ho Chi Minh City, on the southern tip of Vietnam, is one of South East Asia’s emerging boom cities. Still affectionately known by many as Saigon, this is Vietnam’s largest city and its economic engine room. Ho Chi Minh City has an irrepressible soul and an entrepreneurial energy that hums day and night. Despite almost a century of colonialism and brutal conflict, today this city is renowned for its warm hospitality, which even extends to former foes. A youthful enthusiasm flows through this city, just like the stream of scooters, motorbikes and cars that flow endlessly through its chaotic streets. In Ho Chi Minh City, it feels as though the future has arrived… and yet the past is never far away. Wide boulevards built during the French colonial era are lined with cutting edge skyscrapers, while jasmine scented temples gently rub shoulders with chic rooftop bars More than 9 million people call Ho Chi Minh City home and the dynamic energy of its streets is part of its charm. The city is divided into a series of numbered districts and District One is where almost all of the city’s main attractions can be found. As the sun goes down, find yourself a seat at one of Ho Chi Minh City’s famous rooftop bars, a perfect way to soak up the buzz of the city. Dynamic, chaotic and energizing. Ho Chi Minh city may have burst onto the world stage as a battle zone but today, there is no better destination to plug in to the pulse of 21st century Asia. https://www.expedia.com/Ho-Chi-Minh-City.d178262.Destination-Travel-Guides -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow us on social media: Twitter: https://twitter.com/Expedia Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/expedia Instagram: http://instagram.com/expedia Pinterest: http://www.pinterest.com/Expedia/ Google+: https://plus.google.com/+Expedia -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow us on our travel blog, Viewfinder: http://viewfinder.expedia.com/

I want to go to Viet Nam again.
Next time, I want to go to Ha Noi to meet my friend.
Please make a Ha Noi version video. Because Expedia's videos are much better to know a lot of attractive places than reading books or magazines.
I love Viet Nam. I love Expedia videos, too. -
welcome to Vietnamese, welcome to Hồ Chí Minh city!
-
I like your Expedia series movie very much.
I am a Japanese but, I like Viet Nam very much. please make a beautiful introduction video of Ha Noi. -
I wonder why Expedia has not yet made a guiding video about Hanoi. :)

just back from Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh feels like Chinese city in its developing stage years ago. the chaos, the buildings, the street food vibes, and the people. the modernism is emerging in this city, not as modern as its neighbour countries's capitals in the region yet like Bangkok,Jakarta,Singapore,or Kuala Lumpur but you can feel that maybe in the next decade Ho Chi Minh would get there. it still lacks of reliable public transportation tho but i noticed they are building metro line in city centre which is projected to be operated in 2020,which is good. the lacks of English signage remains as the weakness tho for tourists. almost all in Vietnamnese. Hanoi in the other hand, has the Vietnamnese vibe. not as modern as HCM, but i enjoyed Hanoi more. overall i think Ho Chi Minh can surpass Manila in the next few years. Manila is just a mess.

Ho Chi Minh City is without a doubt one of the most magnificent cities i've ever visited. The traffic took some time to get used to, but that was only a trifle compared to the overall experience. Would love to come back someday.

I have been living in this city for nearly 10 years. Until now, i realize that Saigon is such a beautiful, charming, fully traditional and partly modern city.
Additionally, the information from this clip is really true and worthy useful for English-learning people who are looking for the beauty of Saigon.
Many thanks to Expedia. -
