One guy wrote the following: http://i.imgur.com/BpgJ11J.jpg?1 Concerns the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nojl3aiYBOw And here's the 'slight curvature' he's talking about: http://i.imgur.com/6ibwbV5.jpg According to him this results from the camera used, the arc is smaller because the field of view is narrower (he said it's 20 degrees) Here's what the curvature should look like according to Google (60 degrees) http://redoctobermsz.files.wordpress.com/2014/05/urga1.jpg The field of view, as Hornblower tried to explain, has nothing to do here. http://www.360-degree-video.com/pages/360deg-video/spacecam-360-video.php Above is a link to a 360 degree interactive video of Earth from about 25 km It lets you control the view (move up or down, left and right) and enlarge or reduce the amount of horizon you see. You can go around to see that the horizon is...straight.

When i see ships out at sea at a distance i can see earths concavity the horizon is level and the ships in the background are seen below the horizons line as in a bowl like viewing from above but still at sea level. A ship closer in the foreground and a ship in background further away helps us see this concavity and while the horizon is still level it is seen above the furthest ship no matter how far in the distance they are
once understood concavity is easily seen -
Excellent work again ka rol. That 360 degree interactive video of Earth from about 25 km spacecam is great also
