Detailed review of the Holiday Inn Express located next to Amsterdam Sloterdijk Railway Station and Transport Interchange. This film features external views of the hotel, as well as views around the corridors, lift, lobby, reception, bar, lounge, meeting room, and restaurant, both when in use for the breakfast buffet and also when closed. The video also has a detailed review of room 739 which has a 'train view' and faces the city of Amsterdam as well as overlooking the transport interchange at Amsterdam Sloterdijk. Overall I found this hotel: excellently located for transport connections to Amsterdam, Schipol airport and other parts of Holland; modern and very clean; to have comfortable rooms; and very firendly staff. The only real negative to note were large queues for the breakfast buffet in a restaurant that could not handle the capacity of guests at peak times. I would still recommend this hotel to other visitors to Amsterdam either for business or pleasure.

Great video. I will be staying at the Mercure Hotel Sloterdijk in November. I think it is a fairly new hotel and may not have been built when you were there . We are flying into Schipol from Stansted and returning to London by train. Looking forward to it, perhaps I should do a video review : ).

I'm going to Amsterdam next week and the hotel I'm staying at is the Me in Inger which also next to Sloterdijk station. I hope I get a view of the railway line from my hotel room as well.

I got a good deal through booking.com and paid 248 Euros for 2 people bed and breakfast for 3 nights.
