Dubai - How to Connect at Frankfurt Airport from Terminal 1B Bus to Gate Z69 - Walkthrough
Gebäude | Informationen | Videos | Emirates | Aussicht
A walk through the incredibly huge Frankfurt Airport, starting at Bus Arrival 1B, going through the transfer tunnel over to Pier A, where I passed passport control, before ending up in the new Pier A+ at Gate Z69. I arrived from Zurich, Switzerland on LH 1185 and was heading for LH 464 to Orlando, Florida on November 1, 2012.

Is there an additional security check at the entrance to Pier Z? I will be transferring from Pier B to Z and have 65 minutes.

Soon I will be flying from Brussels to Singapore. Arrival at Franfurt will be in termnal 1 gate A (24) and i have to go to gate B (43 - 46) for the Singapore flight. My connection time is 1h15. Can I make this or do I have to change my flights? Thanks in advance for some information.

I have 1 hour 5 mins layover at Frankfurt airport while going from India to US .I have to reach most probably from Gate B23a to Gate Z19 .To save time I m thinking of going through the skyline train. Can someone guide me if thats a good idea ? and I am aware that Gate Z is on level 3 and Gate A is on level 2 and I can use lift to go from A (level 2) to Z (level3) But from where and which level do I board the train .And what are the stoppages inside Termina1 1 for the skyline? And any other tips are welcome to not to miss the flight because of short duration of layover.

I've been to this airport many times to get to Greece.... On my way back from Greece to go to America, I had trouble finding the Z Gate... And of course, one of the asshole German security guards stopped me and told me to go through security again, after I had JUST gone through security. I told him that, but he didn't care. I told him I was lost, and needed help finding the Z Gate, again, he didn't care. He forced me into security. My phone broke when I was in Greece, and wouldn't turn on, as it had water damage. In security they told me to turn on my phone, and I told them I couldn't because it had water damage. They then said I was a threat to my flight, and I wouldn't be able to board unless I got rid of the phone. I have never had to go through such bullshit. I ended up going through security 3 fucking times, after I ended up finding the post office in the airport to just mail my phone to my American address.... Otherwise, this airport is convenient for traveling to Greece... Just make sure you don't get lost, because Germans are assholes. (not all of them, but most.)

What would it be like if every waiting area in every airport in the world had a spot reserved just for you, with an adjustable-height table for your coffee, your phone or even your laptop? Now, imagine if it had a built-in charger so you could work – or enjoy your devices – without worrying about your battery. You can make that happen by kick starting #GateMate

LH 1185 arrives at pier A not B

Ive been to the airport once, if I remember I traveled from gate A something to Z 51 (i think). A Glorious 5 hour wait time from FRA from KRA. I was walking around and hanging around the area you were at 10:00, mainly at the stores, for about half the time, the other half spending my time riding the on-ground escalators, Litteraly. Any other times I was on my laptop at the gate waiting, which was 5% and the travel adapters were in the luggage, which were being transported to the connecting flight. Other then that I love this airport.

This is the worst airport for connecting. I travel Lufthansa 95% of the time due to work, so I've been in and out a gazillion times. ANY connection less than 1 hour 15 minutes is bound to be lost. Specially if you come from international to Schengen. They love to put those in the A68 gates while arriving in the B terminal. Whoever said the 3-hour layover is ideal is 1000% right.

I was so often times at Frankfurt Airport, but have never seen this way an the tunnel. Thank you for showing ! :)

Lufthansa is an average line, they made a bad entry after a 2 days strike and we have to run all over the bloody Frankfurt airport to solve the ticket problem... not to mention is the biggest commercial airport on Europe...

Aw, I remember watching this before leaving on a trip that connected via FRA. Time has passed so quick! But Frankfurt was a nice city to have a layover trip in, Lufthansa was a brilliant airline, and I liked connecting at the airport! Thanks for the video, I enjoy the ambience of German Airports (I've been to München airport as well).

ich liebe diesen Flughafen! <3

"Wir bitten um Ihre Aufmerksamkeit..." I just love FRA's announcements
