@y r Dubai is very safe. No problems at all for visitors and we walked everywhere. Taxis aren't expensive either if you compare rates with other cities. There is a supplement from the airport and from the cruise port, meter begins at 25 Dirham instead of 5. Hope this message reaches you because it didn't come through where I could respond.
