The Engine Alliance GP7200s are certainly a tried and tested design, derived from two of the most successful wide body engine programs in aviation history - the PW4000 and GE90 families they are the workhorse for many A380 fleets around the world. i was on the new flight radar 24 .com, teating out the 3d, i caught the QANTAS A380 landing from lax (QFA94) the singapore airlines cargo 747-400F from auckland, the united 787-9 (UAL98) the emiraites a380 to dubai (EK406) the Emiraites A380 from singapore (EK404)!!! the singapore airlines cargo was first, then the emiraites a380 takeoff, then qfa94 then ual98 then ek404!!!!!!!!! great video though!!
