I have to say, that I would not have believed anyone who’d said that Dubai will have an opera house - 11 years ago, when I arrived here.
Though now the opera has to proof, that it is not only a reflection of the past, but also does contemporary productions. Further - I think the prices for the tickets are steep (compared to e.g. European opera houses - when not a major program is running.
Anyway - good news!
