Dubai - John Portman's Marriott Marquis Atlanta

Photos from atrium of the Marriott Marquis Atlanta. Opened in 1985, it is architecture one of John Portman's most famous buildings. Until it was surpassed in Burj Al-Arab in Dubai, the building's atrium was the largest in the world. I took these photos late on a Sunday night, during Dragon*Con 2011.
