Dubai - Largest observatory wheel in the world - Dubai Eye Bluewaters Island

Dubai Eye, the centerpiece of Dh6-billion Bluewaters Island, will reach 260 metres to become the world’s largest Ferris Wheel. The diameter of the wheel will be 250 metres, the official says, adding, “Then it will be put on to a four legged frame and then total the wheel will be approximately 260 to 262 meters tall.” Around the wheel (Dubai Eye) will be a large plaza with various dining and retail experiences with the island being augmented with four entertainment attractions making it really a place that you can come and visit for the whole day or may be stay in one of the two hotels and for a longer period of time, the official asserts.
