Dozens of rich petrolheads visit the capital each year for their summer holidays in what is known as 'The Season'. Here are some of the most outrageous vehicles seen this 'season'. A Lamborghini Aventador (from £256,000) A Bugatti Veyron (approx £1,400,000) with a parking ticket (up to £130) outside Harrods A Bugatti Veyron with a parking ticket outside Harrods A Lamborghini Aventador (about £260,000) and an Alexander Dennis Enviro 400H double decker bus (about £300,000) A gold Ferrari 458 (from £153,000) and a red Ferrari F12 (also from £153,000) outside Harrods Italian sportscar Pagani Huayra with Saudi Arabian licence plates (from £820,000 to over £1million) It's that time of year again, when Arab boy racers in souped-up Lamborghinis and Bugattis, cruise along London's most luxurious streets. Knightsbridge – home of famous department store Harrods – and Sloane Square are two of the spots where you might see admirers of the supercars snapping selfies in front of the vehicles. But while fans might be ogling over high-end custom vehicles, politicians are fighting back over the noise and disruption caused by hitting people who rev their engines with £100 ($155) fines. london supercar car lamborghini ferrari lifestyle "london city" "united kingdom" UK british bugatti residence property "london property" noise sleep night harrods traffic speed performance "supercar transportation" engine millionaire dubai "united arab emirates" law music shipping exotic 2015 2016 rule respect gold drive driving photography tourism "london heathrow" "london hotel" summer social "social media" entertainment trends monaco luxury "elite nwo agenda" car spotting shmee150 dealer nightsbridge money wealth billionaire passion top gear jeremy clarkson Arabs have been coming with their Dubai-registered supercars to Knightsbridge – where average property prices exceed £3.5 million ($5.4 million) – for several years. But residents in the area have been outraged by the noise caused by the engines. Of course we're not expecting Zonda and Veyron drivers to quail at a ticket for a mere hundred quid, but we'll be keeping track," Nick Paget-Brown, leader of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea wrote on a blog post on Friday. "If they rack up a few tickets, they might just find their cars being seized by the police. Hopefully that will start to have a salutary effect." It is known locally as the "supercar season", the period from July to August when some of the world's richest descend on Kensington and Chelsea in London, many with their extraordinary cars in tow. The spectacle has caught the attention of car fans and petrol-heads from around London and beyond, which means that on a Saturday night in parts of the borough, the revving engines and spectators cheering them can last well into the early hours. Now the council is considering introducing a "supercar ASBO" to try and put an end to the disruption - and give local residents a chance for a good night's sleep. The Victoria Derbyshire programme's Robert Timothy headed into the heart of Knightsbridge - on Sloane Street - to see what is happening.
