This video is property of Train_PlaneHub, "RachaelMatt" 1080p HD! A busy day at Manchester Airport on Thursday 22nd September 2016. With summer drawing to an end, school holidays over many of the summer routes will be finishing for the season within the coming weeks. So I decided to head down to Manchester and catch some footage while the holiday charters are still out in force. A strange day for weather, very Autumnal I suppose. Grey, misty and wet start, but slowly the weather improved and made for a lovely afternoon. You can see the transition as the video goes on. I was there from just after 6:30am until about 2:30pm. Baring in mind the close up runway, 23L closes between 10:30 & 13:00 routinely. But managed to get some nice catches, they include: Swiss Air Bombardier C Series, Emirates A380 & 777, Etihad 777, Singapore Airlines 777, American Airlines 767, Thomson 737, 757's, 767's & 787's, Thomas Cook A321, 767's & A330, Jet2 757's, A321 & 737's, Astra Airlines A320, Small Planet A320, Monarch A321's, United 757, British Airways, Flybe, Aer Lingus, Eurowings and much more! Not to mention a few departures from 23R, including Cathay Pacific 777, Virgin 747 & Saudia 787-9! Over all a pretty successful day.
