https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ruQ7ji-PA08 Newest images of Pluto: Update:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klOxvIdEAMY NASA's New Horizons spacecraft has captured its first color images of the dwarf planet Pluto and its moon, Charon. Image Credit: JPL / NASA Using the Ralph color imager, one of its seven sophisticated instruments, New Horizons took its first color images of Pluto and Charon on April 9. The images were released on April 14, exactly three months before the spacecraft’s planned flyby of the Pluto system and its tiny moons. These tantalizing images are just the teaser for what will come this summer when the spacecraft flies past Pluto. Taken from a distance of 71 million miles, approximately the same as the distance from the Sun to Venus, the images, while extremely blurry, do allow for differences between the two worlds can still be seen. I wonder if death star really exist...

What is the name of this music?

71 million miles. Where is New Horizons now, I wonder. Will we get a picture of the Ort cloud, I ponder. hmm, doubt it.

Void Death Planets near absolute zero (-450 f), they only expose how miraculous Earth is and that we wouldn't exist without divine intervention that created the Universe.

disappointing video. the only colour image of pluto was taken from a distance of 72 million miles, the remainder of the vid is CGI. however, there are now some amazing b&w photos of pluto circulating on the web.
-
they should try to launch three lander or crash land on the whole system and they could each photograph each other for the next century-
-
I hope we might found a living creatures in pluto

Did anyone see the black mark on jupiter?

It strikes me as odd that there are no stars, for the exposure to get an image of the dim Pluto the stars would be very visible, and there would be many in the frames we see of Pluto, the closer to Pluto the denser the stars around it would be. Even if they were blurred or streaked or distracted from the Pluto image they would be on any raw images, and they would be interesting to see. They would also be of scientific value. as at that distance parallax effects compared to Earth based observation would be measurable for the nearer stars. Maybe such photos have been released, but I can't find them yet.

nice vid
-
Nice CGI, nothing more.
-
Another NASA hoax, there never was a mission to Pluto the images were obviously Photoshopped.
-
Music goes great with the presentation.

I don't know…..we send a craft millions of miles to take blurry pictures from 71 million miles? REALLY?…Like, why didn't they put the best and state of the cameras on this space craft….I mean….isn't that the PURPOSE, for it to take PICTURES? I mean, who is running NASA to allow them to send some low grade camera on this multi-million dollar mission….where is the OUTRAGE by taxpayers rather than some of the idiots posting here what a wonderful thing this is….REALLY? Have we been conditioned to just accept garbage???

Funny when people assume vast amounts of money are waste don missions such as Horizons. Be of your interest to know the mission took over 10 years to complete. Even with a budget of 100 billion dollars which I'm sure horizons didn't hit. That's 10 billion per year. How much does a company like coca cola take in from giving us cavities? Instead of attack ESA and NASA. Attack private corporations whose monetary Influence would dwarf that if the science world. And a side note the us government doesn't fund most the satellites going up into space. It's private organization's. Look into how much the us federal government will spend on television advertising and rights and compare it to the aero space budget. You'll be surprised.

2:00 NASA wasted so much money sending off multiple probes just to take video of New Horizons flying by Pluto!

All those brilliant people ....all that money ....all that enthusiasm and dedication ....
Just think what could have been accomplished to help Humanity SOMEHOW if all
that energy had been focused on something more meaningful. What a Waste. -
why is this so important? who gives a shit if there's mountains, or valleys, or whatever ever on Pluto. that doesn't help anything, it's just useless knowledge. why even fuckin bother? worry about the problems on your own planet
