Interesting to think that the dead zone caused by farm runoff is the same minimum size of B.P. oil spill but happens every year. How does that effect the fishing industry?

This documentary is really powerful. It lets the people of the bayou -- the people whose land and lives are being eaten up by rising water -- tell their stories about how they live and their relationship to the sea. Bravo!

This film is a thoughtful examination of an environmental disaster and the complex relationships between industries that depend on the gulf for their livelihood. It really made me examine my views of villains and victims in the challenge of how to change the climate.

Anyone that has spent time along Louisiana's coast knows the way the oil and seafood industries work side-by-side, but this doc does a great job of getting personal accounts of that relationship and how it directly affects everyday life in those communities. Well done.
