This video is property of Train_PlaneHub, "RachaelMatt" Onboard my second Qatar A340-600 of the day, but this time for a short hop from Doha across to Dubai, with a flight time of only 48mins and a cruising altitude of just 21,000ft! A very busy flight, almost every seat taken. Even at night the views above the city on the approach into DXB are simply incredible! The airport can be clearly seen and the Burj Khalifa (worlds tallest building) is clearly visible standing tall above the rest of Dubai's impressive skyline. *Just a little disclaimer or side not before I get loads of comments asking "Why is an A340 on such a short route?" Aircraft size has NOTHING to do with the length of the routes it operates! The route is extremely busy so if they can fill an A340-600, they will use an A340-600 regardless of the distance. Qatar airways also regularly use 777's, A330's & 787's on the same route because of the vast numbers of passengers travelling between the two cities.
