They determine who is a criminal by their appraisal of the value of your property, breaking the law has nothing to do with it. And when a cop does it, it's called "prostitution", and the victim has to go to jail so the cop gets away with it. Then the victims are too scared to say anything, so it actually happens all the time, and the cops get away with it. This sort of thing almost always goes unreported, or something bad happens to the whoever reports it.

There are some threads on the Internet that this guy's words are being misreported. One of the pages that says his words were "spun" actually gives this as an exact quote of his words: QUOTE:So, what we do, we suggest they first and foremost do your part and do what it takes to obey the traffic laws, not get stopped.”UNQUOTE Well, then, he DID say what the Young Turks said he said. It's like that HeeHaw joke when they go to the Doctor and ask "Doc, it hurts when I move my like so", demonstrate it, and then ask "what do you recommend?" Doc replies "Well, then, don't MOVE your arm like so?" It simply a shirking of responsibility when an officer of the law says that the way to avoid a sexual assault when you get pulled over AFTER ONE OF THE GIVENS OF THE HYPOTHETICAL SCENARIO is that you have ALREADY violated a traffic-law, to say "Well, then, don't violate the traffic-laws". Guy needs to have his head sawed off.

#1 It is not the job of the police to punish. They are not the judge, jury and executioner.
#2 Rape is not a punishment... it is a crime; an unmitigated torture. You cannot fight one crime by commiting another more heinous crime.
#3 Nothing could be "solved" by raping a woman. NOTHING. It is just a way to exert force and violent control purely for the pleasure of the rapist.
There is no excuse whatsoever. -
