One of them was the Smart Dock Multimedia Hub, which works for both the Galaxy S4 & the Note II. The Smart Dock allows you to convert your mobile phone into a mobile office. Connect an HD monitor via the HDMI port and share a presentation with a client, or just watch a favorite video in your hotel room. Tired of typing on a tiny virtual keyboard? With three built-in USB ports you can connect a full-sized keyboard, USB mouse and an external storage drive -- all at the same time -- and convert your Galaxy in to a mini desktop computer. You can even connect your Samsung Galaxy Note II to your home theater via the 3.5mm stereo connector for an immersive audio experience.

I have an s4 with a busted lcd screen, if I get the smart dock and hook a mouse to it and hook it up to my tv, will it allow me to put in my lock code using the mouse considering I can't use the screen on my phone? I'm trying to recover my pictures and videos but my phone is locked. Will it show up on the tv and let me mouse click the 4 digit code? Thanks in advance.

i just Airplay my iPhone in landscape end of story. And youtube does play in landscape be it with browser or the youtube app. This is because galaxy is crap, and iPhone is good.

WHO DOES A REVIEW WITHOUT FIRST JUST A LITTLE RESEARCH AND EXPERIMENTATION? This review actually is wrong. If you plug in some peripherals which is why you have USB ports to begin with(multiports), it's config'd to go into landscape mode, and you can also access all the phones file directories, etc. It supports multiple devices, such as mouse and keyboard, gamepad, joystick, and anything most pc's do. This multimedia hub basically ads a powered set of ports to turn your phone into a micro/mini pc, like you can buy from NEO MINI, among dozens of others, which have the same cpu/gpu's in them. This review is really sorely lacking!
If you want a full review of this hub, go to note2 multimedia hub or galaxy note smart doc review. You will see what these things are really made to do, other than pics and vids via HDMI and charging multiple devices. Turn your phone into a full PC and then some! You can even port out to a wired printer, which of course, wireless printing works just fine anyways. Sorry, had to add that... -

I just got my dock in the mail. I can't seem to get it to work. My note 2 has the latest firmware. Is it just supposed to be plug in and play or is there a setting on the phone I need to make. I have the proper cables and my tv is set to the proper input. If you have any ideas that would help. I wish you showed how you made the settings on the phone in this video. Thanks in advance.

Video out doesnt work anymore for Note 2 after the Android 4.3 update. For Note 2 it only makes the dock, a fancy charger…...

I can hook my smartphone up to a key board and mouse wireless that is why there are so many ports to hook up hard drive and mouse and keyboard .... and as for printer just use a wifi printer and do it wireless who needs cords these days anyways
