Dubai - See how the Cruz sisters surprised their mother at Dubai airport with the help of marhaba

Jodin and Lynn Cruz surprised their mother Joy with a choir. They saw a competition run by marhaba inviting Mall of the Emirates visitors to tell marhaba how they would like to surprise a loved one arriving at the airport. They decided to nominate their mother, who was arriving to Dubai from Los Angeles in March 2015. They usually book marhaba Meet & Greet anyway, and thought it would be a great opportunity to do something extra special and show mum how much they love her. Joy brought up six children single handed. She now has some health issues, and though her daughters would love to take care of her, she lives far away in LA. Music has always played an important part in their mum’s life as she was a music teacher, so they decided to surprise her with a choir. marhaba booked the choir and worked with the sisters to prepare a song that meant a lot to them. They told Joy that they had won marhaba Meet & Greet and that, as part of the prize, her arrival at Dubai would be filmed. Jodin and Lynn had requested wheelchair assistance for their mum as she gets tired easily, and Joy was fast-tracked though immigration and looked after every step of the way. Once Joy arrived through the automatic doors, she was met by the choir which then parted to reveal three of her daughters waiting for her.
