Mustafa "Moe" Mustafa was president of Chicago Exotic Car Rentals, an exotic and luxury car rental agency in the Loop that rented Ferrari Spiders, Bentleys and Lamborghinis to high-end clients. "Celebrities like (rapper) Kanye West and people interested in trying something special for a weekend, anniversary or bachelor party" rent the cars, he told Crain's in 2005. The secretary of state's office listed Mr. Mustafa as a Palos Heights resident, though his 2006 Bentley is registered with a Chicago address. Phone numbers listed for both locations were not in service on Tuesday. The Chicago Tribune says he had moved to California. The drama began about 8 pm. Monday, when police arrived at the Lankershim Boulevard home to investigate a domestic dispute and saw the Bentley driver leaving. A three-hour low-speed chase ensued. The car never exceeded 40 mph, according to an L.A. Times report. There was a 90-minute standoff in North Hollywood -- about a block away from where it all started, according to an NBC report. Mr. Mustafa was 27, according to NBC, which also has a photo. Media reports at first flew that the drive was entertainer Chris Brown, who allegedly had an altercation with singer Rihanna that kept both away from the Grammy's.
