8. I came here cause i just was watching Breaking Bad and they said it in an episode. Didn't know that this disaster happened in my country =/ DEP
9. Actualy, the deadliest aviation accident in aviation history are the 9/11 attacks. Most of the deaths were ground casualties. Just to clear that up.
10. Very sad especially seeing the pilots about to die so we're did the other plane crash the one that was trying to get up in the air
11. I was 11 y.o at the time and I do remember everything I read on the papers and saw on the telly. It was indeed na horror event.

13. The capt. of the KLM sounded like a dick, lack of sleep, flew over too many time zones, or sat in the plane for too long, all of the above.

20. I hadn't heard about this until very recently. It's strange how it doesn't get as much publicity. It's the buggiest airplane accident and second biggest airplane disaster ever. Right behind 9/11. But besides that, I wonder how the 61 reacted to it. Could it have affected them for the rest of their lives?
