"Everything points toward automation increasing intelligence"
Now that is a ridiculous sentence. I don't know if you use your phone while driving, or if you even drive at all, or if you actually leave your keyboard to take a walk sometimes, and I don't care. I'm weighing in with the perspective of a London bus driver, and I guarantee if those were automated, the 2.5 million plus passengers that we see daily would be a far smaller number for sheer terror.
"Humans can suddenly fail too"
Which is why when one applies for a driving licence, there is a set of medical screening questions that it would be in one's best interests to answer honestly. I appreciate that some folks would circumvent these with dishonesty for the purpose of simply getting to get behind the wheel of a car, but they are not within defense and summarily are not ever in reference in my opinion. But human error is still not a valid reason to remove them from the picture entirely, that's like saying you don't know for sure if the meat in Burger King burgers actually comes from cows or horses so to remedy that, the meat should be removed entirely. No, that's where education comes in; whether one takes it in or just acts the fool is up to them.
Back to my "ridiculous sentence"; people who would go out of their way to pursue a driving licence, only to thereafter claim that driving is a chore, that is who that sentence references. And now they're getting ever closer to a car that claims to be able to operate itself. Which means they may be inclined to not pay attention to what one would assume they should be doing, ie. driving, which is actually going to be a bit of a headache in the event that any semblance of control is lost and there is an accident. "I was on the phone" is a stupid excuse whether you or your car is in control, and other drivers or motorists, the police, and insurance companies will not be appreciative of it.
You probably still think driving your own car in the face of oncoming autonomy is ridiculous. Fair enough. But I personally feel autonomy takes the fun, the respect, and the overall point from the act of driving altogether, and I'll be sticking with the tried, tested and true combination of a diesel engine and a manual gearbox for the foreseeable future. Each to their own. -

I dislike the idea of autonomous driving. If you want a car that can pretty much drive itself because you must find driving to be a pain, then why are you in a driver's seat in the first place? You might as well just walk or take the bus! Either way would be safer for other people on the road: other drivers, pedestrians, and yes, even cyclists! Why go through the rite of passage of getting your driver's license only to turn around and hate driving? It all sounds a bit very stupid... #JustSaying

hyundai genesis also had similar system..but dont know which one is better..
-
does it stop when the road close?..but navigator said its clear

I have dreams where I am in the passenger's seat with the car driving itself. Now I think my dreams may come true in the near future!

About time there was a video of a self driving car in action with someone actually explaining what is happening and giving us the chance to hear the sounds of the car. Other vids I've came a cross have annoying music playing woven with people making odd comments but this one best explains the action. I'm wondering though, if the car was totally autonomous, how would You tell it where You want to go?
