don't buy it. Buy Dell XPS 13 or 15 is better. I just bought the surface pro 4 today as it's on special for the New Year. The tablet heats up pretty fast and the battery is no way close to 5 hours normal usage. I did only web surfing and some note taking and the battery drain to 85% in 30mins.
Note taking is a very great idea on this Tablet, but the screen gets hot while I were writing direct on the screen. I can't rest my hand and keep on writing on something as hot as this tablet. -
Can I use it when charging? like Lap? I usally do so and feel it's hot from behind.

love my sp4.....please tell Microsoft to make a remote to control volume and other features...I had a HP with remote now i have to jump up and down for volume and other functions

The surface doesnt have the same old apple problems, no overheating on your lap, no shitty accessories, more performance for value, less heavier than a pro, etc.
I decided this is my last apple product for me an old mbp user ;)
Not to mention all the times i put the laptop in danger, for the tablet experience -

Great review, thank you. What do you think of the i5 vs the i7 processor. Also if I can afford it would you recommend the 16 GB memory and 1 TB storage?
