Steve and I turned in all our United miles for Business Class on United Airlines, Chicago to Cambodia, returning First Class from Bangkok, Thailand to Chicago. The only difference between Thai's Business Class Lounge and their First Class Lounge was the service. I really don't need Thai attendants falling to their knees while serving a cup of coffee to me -standing upright would have been perfectly sufficient, not that I'm complaining...just an observation. And as far as food...who really cares at 5:00a! However, sitting in the lounge was a nice beginning to the gruesome day that followed...

I've not had the pleasure of visiting Turkey, let alone the magnificent- looking CIP lounge at Ataturk. I'm most familiar with the United Club in Terminal C in Newark.

Sheila - your lounge reviews are fantastic. Especially appreciate your favouring the Star Alliance carriers. How would you compare the Thai and Singapore Air first class lounges with the incredible Turkish Airlines lounge in Istanbul?

I will probably go early and take full advantage of this lounge. Normally I only hit the lounges when I am in transit changing planes to my final destination.

I am flying First Class on Thai Airways and will be visiting the First Class lounge in BKK. Will I get a free massage when I am there? I heard they had massage rooms. -
Very few people can afford First Class, we sure can't and used United Airlines miles for free tickets.
