Headlines: DIBS2014 design brough to life, very lucky racers, the coolest guy at the boat ramp, out of this world yachts and SeaVault new megayacht marina complex. It’s August 25th and this is Morgane with your daily marine news 1. The amazing SF60 project design was unveiled at last year’s Dubai International Boat Show and it’s a breath-taking 60m mega yacht that was conceived by Mondomarine. The design is a work of SF Yachts and Luca Vallebona. We’ve showed some pictures of the design before, but now Mondomarine has released a video of the striking yacht, check it out and let us know what you think about it! 2. These guys were very, very lucky! A terrifying boat crash took place in a race on the Gold Coast while the speedboat was racing at 150km/h. They were competing in the 2015 UIM XCAT World Series, championship leaders Team Dubai were flying across the water in Moreton Bay during a speed run on the opening day of the event when their powerboat hit some chop and became airborne. 3. You won’t believe this! We just created an award called, “The coolest guy at the boat ramp” and this guy is definitely and by far the winner! Check out this amazing vehicle in action, and skip to 1:20 if you’re an impatient kind of person. 4. These yachts you’re about to see below all look like they just popped out of a out of space movie. If you see them, you are more likely to describe them as spaceships and not yachts. SeaVault is a new megayacht marina complex that will take place in Miami and will have 14 of the world’s most elaborate yacht berths, all available for individual, deeded slip ownership, for vessels up to 230 feet (70 meters) in length. And now, slips are available for buying. The marina will also be completed with living quarters for yacht owners, captains, and crew. Are you interested?
