Read more at Adelle's TITLE blog post here: http://www.philippinetraveler.com/mamboss-cafe/ Here's the transcript of the video: Hi Philippine Travelers! We're here at MamBoss Cafe, a small cafe here at Cabaguio Avenue, Davao City. So MamBoss Cafe is located in Don Dionisio Building. We are experiencing it for the very first time. It's a very quaint place. Their coffee is really good and it comes in this quirky little cup or mug or I don't know what you call it but it's really good. ADELLE: Adie, what are you having? ADIE: Sprinkles, white and... ADELLE: Sprinkles and what? ADIE: And flavor ADELLE: It's strawberry milkshake ADIE: Strawberry milkshake, yummy! ADIE: Hi guys! ADELLE: What are you doing Adriene? ADIE: Drinking strawberry shake. ADELLE: And? How about this? What is this? ADIE: Uh...homework. ADELLE: Homework. Are you done with your homework already? ADIE: Not yet. ADELLE: Why? ADIE: Because I'm drinking this ADELLE: Ok. So it's more important to have this instead of doing your homework now? ADIE: Yes! ADELLE: Ok. (laughs) So far this place is really good And I love it ADIE: I love it, too! ADELLE: Ok, why? ADIE: Because of this one. So I just took a bite of this delicious sandwich and it's really good. It's their MamBoss Club Sandwich. You should really try it if you come here. Here's their menu, I think it's really good. They also have King Froccino which is durian coffee. And their prices here are really, really good. They also have steamers, hot chocolate, tea, smoothies just like what Adie is having. And they have all-day breakfast, sandwiches, salads, desserts. Halo-halo for the win! So if it's very hot outside and you're here in this area close to SPMC (Southern Philippines Medical Center), you should come here. Now let's talk about the ambiance of the place which I love so much. It kind of feels like you're in an old-time mansion because there are a lot of trees, old trees actually, that surround this place. Then they have this cutesy, vintage-y stuff around: the old telephone and TV, and then the framed old bills and records. The place overall gives you a very homey feel that a lot of us are looking for especially if we just want to be alone, read a book, do some homework just like what Adie is doing right now or catch up with friends which I want to do sometimes. If you're on a first date perhaps or meeting somebody new for the very first time, this is a really good place. If you would rate this cafe I would give it a 4 because like what my husband said, they're really good here. But I think it would be better if they close at a later hour because it's a really good place to chill out. If you want to stay here longer, it's a no-go because they would close at 9:30 in the evening. The food is good, very affordably priced. And their coffee is also very good. So I would recommend that you come here for lunch or for dinner. Or for in-betweeners, whatever you want to do. It's really a good place. Thank you so much for watching this video.
