This is a flight review / trip report of our Economy Class flight with Thomas Cook Airlines onboard one of their Airbus A330´s (OY-VKF) on a flight from Phuket Airport in Thailand to Copenhagen Airport in Denmark. Our flight is in fact with the Scandinavian branch of Thomas Cook, Thomas Cook Scandinavia. Our flight review begins at Phuket International Airport where we have just arrived outside Terminal 1 by taxi. We then, before we can enter the airport, have to pass through a security check where all our luggage is X-Rayed. The viewer then follows us around Phuket Airport from Check-in for our "Sunny Heart" flight at Terminal 2 through the airport departure area right to our departure gate. From the departure gate we are driven to our waiting aircraft by bus (tarmac embarkation). The viewer is then given a good view of the Thomas Cook Airlines Airbus A330 that we will be flying in from Phuket. Once onboard we cover the passenger cabin, show some of the Duty Free Shopping Catalogue, show the onboard snack and drinks menu and also show the onboard safety card for this particular Airbus A330 operated by Thomas Cook Airlines. Following a fantastic takeoff and view from Phuket Airport, the viewer joins us to experience the Thomas Cook Economy Class passenger cabin, the Inflight Meals (pre-ordered at a charge), the Inflight Entertainment System (movies available at a charge), Inflight drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic (all drinks including water, non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks have to be purchased - coffee and tea are available with purchased inflight meals). According to a Thomas Cook Airlines video (from 01/2015) this Airbus A330-200 aircraft is one of only six, aircraft of this type, that have lower deck toilets (lavatories). Four of these specifically ordered Airbus types are operated by Thomas Cook Airlines. We of course take the viewer downstairs to have a look at this very unique placement of the passenger lavatories. We hope you enjoy this Thomas Cook Airlines tripreport / flight review with us (Maxi and Maro) from Phuket Airport.
