Every year Time Out’s team of reviewers dine out anonymously at hundreds of eateries – from five-star restaurants to neighbourhood cafés – around town, to create the most comprehensive set of eating out reviews Dubai has ever seen. And every 12 months our panel of very well fed and watered expert judges sit and debate this incredible culinary scene, separating the best from the rest. The fruits of that laborious debate is the annual Time Out Dubai Restaurant Awards, the definitive celebration of one of the greatest dining scenes in the world. A true snapshot capturing the diversity of the emirate, the shortlist spreads across a total of 23 categories (with an additional two winners – Restaurant Of The Year and Outstanding Contribution – which are announced on the night) recognising all the major strands and genres of cuisine in the city.
