Tom Cruise leaps from Burj Khalifa, Dubai, for Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol. The jump is around 22 secs in, from around 128 stories high. The crew have been filming for about 4 days, mostly in the mornings. Saw the first jump and it was a heart-stopping moment! Sorry it's a bit shaky - caught this second jump through my SonyCybershot pointing through a pair of binocs :)

Finally saw the movie - and it was a great ride! The Burj scenes were breathtaking and a real treat for us residents. No surprise that it has broken movie debut records in the UAE. Basic plot device (Ethan on the run) was the same as MI:1, but the whole production oozes style and wit. Great job all round.

@greg55666 It's so dumb that you think an actor like Tom fucking Cruise can't do it himself. It was himself, not fucken stunt. Watch Katie Holmes interview on Jimmy Kimmel live. She was there and she said she was terrified after watching her husband do this.

@greg55666 LOL :) Oh,dumb it might be, but it's him, alright. There's another video on YT taken from the inside the Burj, from the public viewing platform, that clearly shows this. The whole shoot was heavily covered by the media here in Dubai.
