Dubai - Tom Cruise Talks Holidays With Katie and Suri at the MI4 Premiere

Hi there, I'm Lauren, and we're chatting with Tom Cruise at last night's New York premiere for Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol in today's PopSugar Rush! Tom Cruise brought the Hollywood star power to New York City last night, as he walked the red carpet for the premiere of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. The A-list actor was looking handsome in a navy suit, as he shook hands with fans and posed with his wife Katie Holmes for the cameras — and our own PopSugar editor Allie Merriam was there on the scene to get some face time with the star. ALLIE: After stops in India, Dubai, Europe, and South America, Tom and his Ghost Protocol gang are bringing the movie home to the US. ALLIE: So you're fresh off this global tour. How was it, and how are you going to unwind over the holidays? TOM CRUISE: Well, we already started. As soon as I got back, we took Suri to the Nutcracker and skated at Rockefeller Center. It was a great tour, it was really amazing. I love going around, and even if I only get to spend a day or two there. I love going around and seeing the places and meeting people, so it was wonderful. ALLIE: Tom is back as Ethan Hunt in Ghost Protocol, and this time Paula Patton, Jeremy Renner, and Simon Pegg are along for the extremely wild ride. Paula, Jeremy, and Simon were all on hand for last night's event with the rest of the movie's cast and crew, and it seems everyone was impressed with Tom's stunt work. JOSH APPLEBAUM, Screenwriter: When you have Tom in the movie, you can actually open your mind to thinking, ok what is the most insane thing you can possibly do, and you know that, because it's Tom, he'll actually do it. BRAD BIRD, Director: We had a star who was willing to swing around on a very thing wire, way above the earth, so that's a rare opportunity. ALLIE: What is it like doing a fight scene with Tom Cruise? MICHAEL NYQUIST, Hendricks: That was fun. I broke a rib. Tom did his own stunts in the movie, which called for him to scale the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.
