Zakumi, the Official Mascot of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™, follows in the footsteps of Tiger Woods, Roger Federer and Andre Agassi by playing on the helipad of the Burj Al Arab. Zakumi was in Dubai for an action-packed holiday as he counts down the last few days to the kick-off of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™. He flew in with Emirates and was welcomed to the airline's home base by cabin crew representing each of the 32 nations taking part in the soccer spectacle in South Africa. Emirates an Official Partner of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ rolled out the red carpet and whisked him on a whistle-stop tour of all Dubai's top spots, including Dubai Aquarium, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Creek, Wild Wadi, Ski Dubai and Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa, before giving him a bird's-eye view of the emirate from the helipad of the world's most iconic hotel, Burj Al Arab. Available multimedia includes edited packages, b-roll and still images.

I completely fell in love with Zakumi!! I would actually tell my fiance that I had to go to the restrooms 10 minutes or so before half time so that I could enjoy seeing Zakumi go around the field dancing and waving. LOVE the little leopard.. although in person he's not that little :-)
